  • Elephants - See the zoo's African bush elephants and learn about the challenges elephant populations are facing worldwide.

  • Children's Zoo - The Children’s Zoo has been designed with youngsters in mind. A space for education and fun with interactive experiences that connect children with farm animals and help to foster a sense of responsibility and respect for them. You can find goats, cows, sheep, pigs, horses, donkeys and even an incredibly rare Catalan Donkey. The space also has some smaller animals to interact with such as rabbits, mice and hamsters, all with the purpose of introducing animals to kids.

Snowflake - Barcelona Zoo's Famous Albino Gorilla

Barcelona Zoo was once home to Snowflake, the world's only known albino gorilla. Born in Equatorial Guinea, Snowflake became one of Barcelona's most famous animals and an international symbol of the zoo before his death in 2003.
